Sir Rippin Gandalf Coppini
Our incredible, and very rare patch tabby male! The odds are estimated around 1 in 10,000! His parents are Trinity and Stonewall. I do not expect to ever have one again, and we are very thankful for this rare gift!
It is technically not possible for a male to be a patch tabby or a tortoiseshell. Sir Rip here is a "mosaic" which in his case means a merging of two sets of DNA. In short, he is a combination of a brother, and a sister, who merged very early on in the womb! He's a very healthy, happy boy, living in Washington DC as a beloved pet with one of my best friends. =)
